When Amanda reached out to me about her beautiful Fall 2021 wedding plans, I immediately felt like I’d known her for years. She shared how important it was for her and Zack to feel a connection to their wedding photographer, and that she preferred a less traditional style of photography (my heart, be still!). She said of her relationship with Zack: “I can truly say we are each other’s person.” This really struck me and I was so honored that she wanted me to document their love story.

We’ve been getting to know each other throughout the year, and I am so appreciative of the relationships I get to form and the trust people have for me to authentically tell their story the way I see and feel it.

I met Amanda and Zack for an end of summer Connection Session (Engagement Photos) on Zack’s family property in Portland, Oregon. It was the most beautiful forest location and the autumn light was so dreamy. We spent the evening together creating some magic.
